                              RESOLUTION NO. 21654
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
                 NO. 53B-4, NORTHWEST GEORGIA SEWER COLLECTION
                 SYSTEM, SPRING CREEK AND WAVERLY DRIVE
                 INTERCEPTORS, TO MAYSE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR
                 THEIR LOW BID IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION,
                 FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO THOUSAND, FORTY-FIVE AND
                 50/100 DOLLARS ($1,462,045.50), SUBJECT TO
                 CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of Contract No. 53B-4, Northwest Georgia Sewer Collection
       System, Spring Creek and Waverly Drive Interceptors, to Mayse
       Construction Company for their low bid in the amount of
       $1,462,045.50, subject to obtaining easements and a loan from the 

       State of Georgia.
